The class of 2015 ended the year earning 88 NIMS – National Institute of Metalworking Skills credentials mostly in CNC machining. We hope to be able to keep up the same great record next year as well. Our goal is to have every graduate complete 6 NIMS industry Credentials. This will help an apprentice to achieve better jobs and better pay in the manufacturing industry.
This year we we had received a grant for free testing from the Gene Haas Foundation for one year, Next years class will be able to take advantage of this.
Our school just received National NIMS accreditation and will fully utilize the power of testing and credentialing to improve our apprentices skills. We just graduated another class of 19 machinists with our 1200 hr day program and our FAST Track CNC program at night ( for experienced machinists ).
We may also include MasterCam Cad- Cam evening training along with an introduction to Solid-works for industry. Our goal would be to achieve Associate level credentials for MasterCam.
In only our 2nd year we have achieved 100% employment again. We personally had more job openings that students. Its very busy out there.
Next full time day classes start Aug 24 – sign up now before all seats are full. Funding is available
