Well… we did it… We graduated 16 students. They are now apprentice machinists. I told them all whenever you are asked “What do you do?”  you can now answer ” I’m a machinist”.  Most of our apprentices have jobs already in the industry and others are still in the process of job offers and interviewing. It was viewed as a great success by Sarasota county officials.   Now we start on season 2 – Classes begin August 18, 2014 – please sign up soon and I hope to see you there.  www.scti.edu
